Project Role Description : Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. You will perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems (DBMS) and providing input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of databases and contribute to the success of the team and clients. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Manage and optimize database performance. - Implement and maintain database security. - Design and implement backup and recovery strategies. - Monitor and troubleshoot database issues. - Ensure data integrity and availability. - Collaborate with developers to optimize database queries and performance. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management (MDM). - Experience with database administration and management. - Strong understanding of database concepts and architecture. - Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL programming languages. - Experience with backup and recovery procedures. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle Database Administration. - Experience with performance tuning and optimization. - Familiarity with database security best practices. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management (MDM). - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years plus fulltime education is required.
