Summary: As an Application Designer, you will assist in defining requirements and designing applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of Workday Core HCM. Your typical day will involve collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, designing and developing applications, and providing technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for Workday Core HCM implementation. - Design and develop applications in accordance with business process and application requirements. - Provide technical support and guidance to the project team. - Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. - Conduct system testing and assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in Workday Core HCM. - Assist in training end-users on the functionality and usage of the applications. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core HCM, Workday Talent Management, Workday Advanced Reporting. - Strong understanding of Workday Core HCM and its modules. - Experience in designing and developing applications using Workday Studio or Workday Cloud Platform. - Knowledge of Workday integration tools and techniques. - Familiarity with Workday security and data privacy standards. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. - Solid grasp of data munging techniques, including data cleaning, transformation, and normalization to ensure data quality and integrity. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Workday Core HCM. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A Workday Core HCM certification with 4 or 5 years of experience is required.
