ummary: As an Application Lead for Packaged Application Development, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications using Microsoft SQL Server. Your typical day will involve leading the effort to deliver high-quality solutions, acting as the primary point of contact for the project team. Roles & Responsibilities: - Create Entity Relationship (ER) Diagrams to the proposed database - Create database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, Triggers etc. - Identify columns for Primary Keys in all the tables at the design time and create them. - Create functions to provide custom functionality as per the requirements. - Be aware of potential blocking, deadlocking and write code to avoid those situations. - Endure that the code is written keeping in mind any security issues such as SQL Injection - Design, Develop and Deploy SSIS Packages. - Modify / update T-SQL scripts for importing and organizing data - Manage daily / monthly data and reporting processes automated through SQL Server agent - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring that project goals are met. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Strong experience in Microsoft SQL Server. - Must To Have Skills: Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). - Solid understanding of database design principles and best practices. - Experience with database performance tuning and optimization. - Experience with database backup and recovery procedures. - Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3.5 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions. - This position is based at our Mumbai office.
