Summary: As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements using Java. Your typical day will involve working with Java, Spring Boot, and other related technologies to develop and maintain high-quality applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, REST API, JSON, XML, and SOAP. - Engage in microservices development in containers and Kubernetes environments. - Lead integrations, transformations, and data migration projects using Java. - Implement and maintain version control systems, CI/CD processes, and DevOps practices using Git/Azure Repos. - Work with file transfer protocols and API integration, with a strong understanding of JSON, XML, and other file formats. - Collaborate in the integration and utilization of Collibra for data cataloging. - Automate daily tasks and processes using Azure DevOps based on project requirements. - Utilize and manage cloud-based environments and services, particularly in AWS/Azure. Professional & Technical Skills: - Java development experience, particularly in integrations and data-related projects. - Proficiency in Spring Boot microservices development, preferably in containerized and Kubernetes environments. - Solid understanding and experience in version control (Git/Azure Repos), CI/CD processes, and DevOps. - Familiarity with JSON, XML, SOAP, and other data formats and file transfer protocols. - Experience with Collibra integration and data cataloging tools. - Knowledge and experience in automating processes using Azure DevOps - Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure cloud services. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Java development. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering high-quality applications.
