What would you do? • Prior Experience & Knowledge on financial reporting. • Knowledge of Treasury/Cash Management and Banking process and key issues. • Experience in Month-end, quarter-end & yearly close. • Experience in Various Management adhoc and standard reports. • Responsible in preparation of day-to-day reconciliations, review sign-off. • Managing the day-to-day operations of the team. • To manage all SLA/ KPI • Ensure workload allocation among the team members. • Maintain robust internal controls. • Thorough knowledge on S4-HANA SAP, Hyperion Financial Management, Oracle, Source system query generation required. • Role requires stretch/extended working hours during critical periods/month end/quarter end/half year end/year end. • Direct interaction with onshore stakeholders & working independently on deliverables. • Assist business units of client (one of the largest companies in the world) to close their financial books for period-end (Month / Quarter / Year) and enable them to report financial results. • Reconciliation of assigned accounts in General Ledger to their independent source. • Processing periodic / regular journals either based on standing instructions from client or as an ad hoc request from client, after carrying out necessary checks per prescribed process. • Monitoring daily cash positions and forecasting cash flows to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs. • Executing cash movements and coordinating bank transactions. • Managing relationships with banks and financial institutions. • Validating the payment batches on daily basis • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. • Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions and documentation. • Assisting with internal and external audits. • Process Cash Sweeps / Journals • Reconcile bank accounts. • Utilizing treasury management systems and other financial software to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. • Assist the client in the exercise of financial control over books by performing such checks as may be prescribed. • Prepare any reports or financial information for use by client. • Help clients and organizations in their operational efficiency and balance sheet integrity, cuts time to close and safeguards compliance with regulatory requirements. • Supporting month end closing, preparing reports and supports in audits.
What are we looking for? • Commerce Graduate/Post Graduate Finance with 5 to 8 yrs of experience in Financial Accounts • Prior experience in SAP, Oracle, HFM – Working knowledge preferred. • Good understanding in MS Office Excel, advanced Excel skills – like Macros, Power BI, Access and running queries and analyzing the results. • Good Knowledge of accounting and analytical skills • Good Communication Skills • Quick turnaround for queries. • Requires working in Australian Shift Timing
Roles and Responsibilities: Responsible for financial accounting and reporting that has a material impact on key components of the client’s financial statements. • Responsible for the preparation, coordination and review of financial accounting analyses and journal entries to properly recognize actual results for material components of the client’s operations. • May be required to prepare a wide range of financial reporting applicable to scope of the assigned responsibilities. • Analyzes transactions, understands, and explains variances, and proactively identifies potential problems and solutions. • Ability to recognize unusual transactions, trends, or variations and communicate findings to supervisor or manager. • Ability to manage/monitor accounting close responsibilities. • Initiates and facilitates the sharing of process knowledge and best practices within the team and across the engagement and is capable of impacting and influencing others. • Develops and maintains documentation on projects and team assignments. • Proactively adapts to a changing business environment and revises accounting processes and procedures accordingly. • Must have a high user proficiency in the client’s financial systems and desktop applications. • Maintains strong technical accounting skills, and accounting systems and process skills. • Prepares and ensures accuracy of accounting data. • Ensures account analyses are comprehensive, substantive, and performed on a timely basis. • Ensures that assigned monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting targets are met. • Reviews financial accounting and regulatory requirements as well as client accounting policies and procedures and ensures compliance. • Requires good knowledge of multiple systems and data flows. • Communicates relevant information on a timely basis. Clearly expresses ideas and concepts both orally and in writing, recognizing the audience and communicating appropriately. • Knowledgeable and responsive to the client’s needs and wants and managing client expectations when necessary. • Requires professional interaction and communication, both within the Accenture organization and with client contacts.
