The ReSUME Returners Programme is a 6-month, competitively-paid work placement to empower professionals, who have taken a career break of two years or more, to return to the workplace.

This year we are pivoting our programme in a way that will suit both ReSUME candidates and Accenture's business needs. In place of our traditional fixed timeframe for applying to this programme, ReSUME applications will now be accepted throughout the year, with roles being opened and added to the ReSUME programme on a rolling basis.

While the application process will change, the same ReSUME support structure will remain in place to support our candidates, including coaching, mentoring and career support.

Why ReSUME?

Many highly-skilled, experienced, professional women and men have taken career breaks because of family duties, to travel/volunteer, or other reasons. In many cases, there comes a time when they want to return to the workforce – but there can be challenges. Accenture Ireland’s Returners Programme is designed to coach and support participants to refresh their existing talents, learn new skills and strengthen their confidence. ReSUME has proven that supported returners can get back up to speed very quickly and deliver excellent results.

Refresh participants’ skills to mirror changes in the working environment.

Get up-to-speed

Get up-to-speed on anything new that you may not have experienced previously.

Eliminate concerns

Eliminate any worries about changes in the workplace, e.g. new tools and technology.

Put you at ease

Dispel any perceived obstacles in your return to work.

About you

The ideal ReSUME candidate:

  • Has recently taken a career break of two years or more
  • Is passionate about business and/or technology
  • Is motivated by the prospect of progressing their career with a permanent role at Accenture, at the end of the programme
