The role of The SPM (Strategic Partner Advisor) is to build relationships with creators via a cadence of outbound communications, and to take them on an experimental journey which will help to define, expand and lock in their approach to revenue generation and revenue diversification. All of which will compliment how we build brand loyalty in their association with YouTube.
Primary Expectations
- To develop an understanding of our partners’ (creators) commercial goals and consider how they can be enhanced with the adoption of YouTube smart strategies.
- You’ll need the ability to be seen a trusted advisor, who can provide strong and direct influence on the creator’s strategy through compelling story telling, linked to case studies, market intelligence, product features and data backed logic.
- Ability to conduct enhanced discovery conversations with partners, to better understand their appetite for creative commercial diversity within their channels, and equally their historical experiences, both with YouTube and other competing platforms.
- To nurture a high-volume portfolio of pre-screened creators, who have been invited and accepted into this bespoke program and will become your “locked” portfolio for an initial 6-month journey, as you help them to succeed commercially.
- This nurture will be through a combination of outbound calling, and bespoke email communications, where high activity levels are central to your own success.
- Your role will pivot around how you upsell/cross-sell strategies and activations, to both existing and new accounts.
- Success being defined and measured, by the success in your efforts to drive adoption of our ideas for an initial period of time, which rely on your ability to guide and influence via positive engagement. Pitch Rates and Conversion Rates being our primary measurement metrics.
Secondary Expectations
- Document all aspects of the sales cycle in the CRM, following correct workflow process.
- Work reactively to Sales Support Team & QA direction, and equally offer back proactive insights to this group, which can further help our wider team.
- Offer regular insights into your geographic region, and specific creator partners in terms of trends and behaviours we witness, to create a feedback loop, for voice of the creator.
- Participates in the development of materials needed for campaign/ program.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales outreach, proactive account management, customer success or lead generation position.
- Language(s) Required: English - minimum level C1 required.
Preferred Qualifications/ Experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Prior inside sales experience with emphasis on both outbound and inbound calling, to both cold and warm audiences.
- Have quota-based (target driven) sales experience with sales impact on performance and results attainment, and to that point are excited and motivated by the idea of personal target attainment.
- Specific knowledge and awareness, of the social media platforms, and their potential to both creators and users’ behaviours.
- Interest in expanding industry knowledge through training and certifications
