If you are required to work a night shift as part of this role, you are obliged to complete a night worker health assessment. Please note that it is a requirement of your continued employment, that you are fit to work night shifts.
As an agent on the VR App Review Team, you will be responsible for checking Compliance of virtual reality apps with our Client policies. Experience working in a similar operational or technical support capacity is desirable. Understanding of virtual reality apps and VR headsets along with app development is desirable.

Content moderators serve as an important line of defense by helping improve the quality and safety of online content while gaining hands-on job experience. You will deliver value to our clients while making a larger impact on society.
You will be responsible for analyzing and reviewing user profiles, audio, videos, and text-based content and/or investigating, escalating and/or resolving issues that are reported by users or flagged by the system. Due to the nature of the role, the user may be exposed to flashing lights or contrasting light and dark patterns. You will be required to review these apps wearing a virtual reality headset for a part of your working day, so experience or familiarity with a VR headset is desired.
Content moderation is meaningful work that helps keep the internet safe. It may also be challenging, at times. In the context of this role, individuals may be directly or inadvertently exposed to potentially objectionable and sensitive content (e.g., graphic, violent, sexual, or egregious). Therefore, content moderators need strong resilience and coping skills. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review virtual reality apps following accurately all Client policies
- Handle multiple workflows and meet targets on Quality and Productivity
- Take quick decisions
- Take enforcement actions for non-compliant apps
- Determine and resolve issues with a high level of accuracy
Role Details:
- Review, classify and/or remove content according to client guidelines, using specific tools and channels
- Understand and remain updated on changing client policies and guidelines
- Investigate, resolve, and relay complex content issues to the broader Trust and Safety team
- Have a passion for Apps, social media platforms, virtual reality and service & compliance in social media
- Understanding of apps and app development is desirable
- Excellent work pacing (time management) skills and able to work independently
- Able to work in multiple tools/web browser windows at the same time
- Motivated, takes initiative, high energy
- Familiar with MS office
- Self-starter, can easily adapt to change (new functionality, changing policies)
- Participate in process improvement initiatives that improve quality and efficiency of work
- Participate in continuous training programs and workgroup discussions for optimal development in the role
- Engage in conversation around socially sensitive topics with the purpose of keeping our communities safe
Qualifications
- Language(s) Required: English: As part of the interview process, you will be required to complete an English language test and a language test in the relevant language for this role. You will be advised of the level you are required to achieve to successfully carry out the role.
Basic Qualifications:

- Excellent comprehension and communication skills
- Fluent English speaker with excellent verbal and written skills
- Graduate or High School Diploma (Computer Science, Information Technology)

- Comfort synthesizing and analyzing information from multiple streams
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Deep familiarity and passion for the internet, internet platforms, and internet culture

- Ability to work differing rotations/shifts and non-standard work hours
- Flexibility in meeting changing business needs in a fast-paced environment
