WORK YOU’LL DO
Accenture Security is one of the fastest growing areas of the business with significant growth plans through additional recruitment and acquisitions. You will be joining Accenture's Cyber Protection services, working as part of the rapidly expanding Greek team to manage, maintain and enhance industrialized and repeatable processes, methods, tools and response plans to secure applications and environments and safeguard systems development standards.
Data Security professionals safeguard digital information throughout its entire life cycle to protect it from corruption, theft, or unauthorized access. Data Security engineers assess, define, implement and/or support world-class application security solutions for Accenture or our clients, spanning simple IT projects to large-scale, enterprise-level programs. The Data Security Engineer role includes:
Participating in data Discovery and Data Classification exercises.
Preparing the Data Security related documentation (e.g. Data Classification Policy).
Implementing Data Protection mechanisms, such as encryption, tokenization and/or masking.
Responding to security incidents in a timely manner or supporting in mitigation of findings.
Analyzing breaches to determine their root cause.
Collaborating with clients to define best approach to maximize the security posture.
Qualifications
WHO WE´RE LOOKING FOR?
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Security or relevant engineering discipline.
At least 2 years of experience working on delivering Data Security projects and services.
Familiar with security practices and architectures, such as network security, security code development, security auditing, security hardening, information security.
Hands-on experience on Microsoft Azure Purview, IBM InfoSphere, Informatica, Collibra, Alation, Fortanix or equivalent.
Knowledge on implementing DLP Policies, trainable classifiers and sensitivity labels.
Knowledge in databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, IBM DB2, PostgreSQL, Redis or equivalent.
Understanding of development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile).
Strong presentation, speaking, collaboration, and writing skills.
Demonstrate excellent command of Greek & English language, both written and spoken.
Curious, self-motivated, life-long learner, empathetic, and collaborative.
Will be considered a plus:
Master in Digital Security field.
Certification SC-400 Microsoft Information Protection and Compliance Administrator, IMI Certified in Data Protection (CDP), Informatica Cloud Data Governance CDGC Foundation Certification, Fortanix Administrator, CompTIA Security+ or equivalent.
Knowledge on Cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, Prisma Cloud etc.), PaaS or containerized deployment architectures (OpenStack, OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes…).
