- Deliver successful consulting engagements, addressing our clients’ most pressing business challenges, and create lasting value in disciplines such as:
- Defining and Implementing C-Suite strategic agendas
- Emerging products and services (e.g. ESG, GenAI, blockchain)
- Organisational re-design and operating model transformation
- Analytics and big data
- Core systems transformation
- Cost efficiency
- Enterprise agility
- Solve complex, ambiguous business, change and technology problems, bringing structure and rigorous analysis and planning, acting, and taking decisions with little management oversight
- Drive a rigorous and structured approach to solving business problems
- Build trusted relationships with client and Accenture teams in a dynamic and challenging environment
- Support building out Accenture’s thought leadership
- Support the development of Accenture’s Asset Management practice through people development and mentoring of more junior team members
- Drive, identify and support business development and sales, partnering with our leaders, clients, and consultants across our practices to take the best of Accenture to our clients
- Take accountability for developing offerings within the UK Asset Management practice. Play a key role in driving the growth agenda for clients - identifying emerging trends in customers and the market and driving sales as a result
- Lead the creation of well-articulated thought leadership assets that present innovative and action-oriented information, insight, knowledge, guidance, and recommendations on a specific market-relevant strategy topic and drive improved market presence in external forums
- Develop and manage within high performing multidisciplinary consulting teams, leading by example, actively mentoring others and contributing to performance management and recruitment activities
- Prioritise diversity and inclusion across teams and champion change that brings added value to the business.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with the following skills:
- Asset management consulting experience at a recognized consulting firm or through an ‘in-house’ consulting/business development role (e.g., Group Strategy, Group Corporate Development) at a large asset management organisation
- An excellent understanding of the asset management and/or asset servicing industry, across a range of client segments, offerings, and businesses
- Knowledge and a personal viewpoint on key trends in asset management including front to back operating model, emerging products and services
- Knowledge and a personal viewpoint on key trends in asset management, including risk & regulation, investor needs, investor lifecycle, and products and services
- Excellent consulting and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with recognized consulting frameworks and techniques; experience of research, quantitative analysis, structured problem solving and executive communication techniques
- Proven track record of building and sustaining lasting relationships with C-Suite Executives of leading organizations in the sector; engaging C-suite stakeholders and encouraging bold decision making
- Operating model design and implementation experience.
- An appreciation of how technology can contribute to solving clients’ complex business problems; comfort operating at the intersection of business and technology
- Familiarity with at least some of the core technology platforms in use in the industry (e.g. Aladdin, Charles River, SimCorp, Alpha)
- Intellectual capacity and ability to think in new, innovative ways to understand complex issues and develop creative solutions
- Ability to comfortably multi-task and engage on different projects and activities concurrently in challenging and often ambiguous circumstances
- Ability to be at ease with ambiguity and identify opportunities through innovative thinking
- Proven presentation skills, personal impact and charisma to lead large-scale, senior meetings, presentations and workshops supported by first class written and verbal communication skills; the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical and impactful manner
- Comfortable in managing teams and being the go-to contact for our clients’ executives
- Flexibility to accommodate client travel and location requirements
