You'll provide integrated, cloud-based financial management solutions that put organisations on the fast track to a better way to work from rapid deployments to complete transformations. 

 

We are seeking a Workday Financials Solution Architect to join our fast-growing team. In this role, you will help our clients get the most out of their Workday investment by: 

 

  • Lead the Architecture and design of Workday Financials solutions to meet client business objectives

  • Partner with stakeholders to understand financial and operational requirements, translating them into actionable configurations and integration requirements and maps

  • Ensure solutions align with financial best practices, compliance, and reporting standards.

  • Provide architectural oversight for complex configurations and integrations with other enterprise systems.

  • Define and enforce governance standards for Workday Financials implementations.

  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal controls.

  • Analyze and evaluate existing financial workflows to identify inefficiencies and propose Workday-based solutions.

  • Recommend process improvements to enhance automation, reporting, and data accuracy.

  • Present architecture designs and system capabilities to executive stakeholders and decision-makers.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business teams, guiding maximising the value of Workday Financials.

  • Act as a mentor and technical guide for Workday Financials team members, including functional consultants and analysts.

  • Support innovation through the creation of new industry-leading methods and assets. 

 

Qualifications

You ideally have a strong finance background and have spent several years on the Workday platform, either as a consultant or in a client role, owning and driving the Workday agenda. You are motivated, solution-oriented, and able to find solutions independently. You have experience in managing and communicating with different stakeholders. You are results-oriented and able to win others over and sell your ideas.

  • Deep knowledge of Workday Financials modules and their configuration, including but not limited to General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, and Financial Reporting.

  • Strong understanding of financial principles, compliance requirements, and data governance.

  • Strong finance transformation track record. 

  • Experience with several full-cycle Workday implementations. 

  • Strong understanding of Workday Financials processes and best practices, including configuration and reporting

  • Proven ability to lead functional and technical teams in complex Workday Financials implementations.

  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Strong documentation skills for system architecture and business processes.

  • Fluency in English 

  • Ability to meet client travel requirements as needed.  

  • Able to efficiently manage a virtual team and client interaction. 

  • Thrive in a diverse, dynamic environment 

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines despite conflicting demands.

  • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across teams 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex messages and requirements.

  • ·Strong desire to work with clients and provide exceptional client experiences 

 

Additional qualifications 

The following qualifications are considered an advantage during the application process: 

  • Fluency in English and/or another language 

  • Additional Workday certifications such as Adaptive Planning, Prism, Accounting Centre, etc.
