As an Architect, you will:
Define technical requirements & designs to support defined business requirements.
Design and deploy enterprise-wide scalable, highly available, fault tolerant, secure and reliable applications
Develop technical architecture components.
Participate in detailed design and code reviews.
Review system performance and consumption issues.
Provide technical guidance, developer training, and support to others, in addition to your implementation responsibilities
Assess and recommend the best of breed technology solutions and frameworks to address client needs; run proof of concepts/architectures for key decisions
Undertake research into new technologies and define / revise reference architectures.
Take ownership for ensuring delivery success from a technical standpoint
Continually build and hone your technical competence and industry relevant skills
We are looking for experience in the following:
The different dimensions of software architecture and how they inter-relate, such as development, execution and operations architectures;
Experience with AWS & Azure, GCP or IBM cloud platforms and their API gateway or iPaaS offerings;
An understanding of the concept of non-functional requirements (ilities) and can relate these to architecture components;
SOA webservices, APIs and microservices design and delivery in Java, NodeJS, .NET, Python, GoLang or similar;
Docker, Redhat OpenShift, native or managed Kubernetes;
Experience of Oracle, IBM or SpringSource platforms deployed locally and in the cloud;
