Total International air cargo capacity growth is up +9% vs 2019, slightly outpacing last month’s +8%

Over the last 4 weeks, North America experienced strong growth on inbound routes, especially coming from Asia Pacific (+30%) and Latin America (+30%)

Global international air cargo capacity shows slight improvements over the last 4 weeks, growing at 1%.

Freighters are driving capacity growth, with a +6% increase from airlines and +2% increase from integrators compared to the previous four weeks of 2024.

Most major trade lanes show a positive year-to-date growth, driven by Asia Pacific and Middle East

Transatlantic air trade shows a noticeable decline compares to all other major trade lanes.

Fashion and raw materials air trade grew over +100k tonnes each in the first half of 2024 (vs last year)

While fashion and raw materials air trade growth has increased of +19% and +8% respectively, capital equipment, high technology and automotive air trade experience a consistent downturn.
