Job Description
Are you a skilled Mainframe senior developer looking for an exciting opportunity in Accenture? Join our team at Accenture in Helsinki and play a key role in delivering successful projects for our clients.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and develop solutions using Mainframe
• Design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements
• Develop and maintain technical documentation related to application development
• Participate in code reviews to ensure solutions align with industry best practices and standards
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for applications developed using Mainframe

Qualifications
Professional & Technical Skills:
• Hands-on experience in IBM-Z/OS COBOL, CICS, IMS DB/DC, DB2, VSAM, JCL, CA7, Changeman /Endeavor Mainframe application development tools and IBM WebSphere MQ messaging solution
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle and engineering principles
• Experience in Insurance domain is an added advantage
Additional Information:
• The candidate should have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in IMS, PL/1, and COBOL
• Certification as a Scrum Master (e.g., CSM, PSM)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent Finnish and English communication skills
• The candidate must be resident in Finland
