Job Description
Are you a skilled Mainframe senior developer looking for an exciting opportunity at Accenture? Join our team in Helsinki and be part of transforming leading insurance companies with cutting-edge digital solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and develop solutions using Mainframe
• Design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for application development
• Participate in code reviews and ensure solutions align with industry best practices
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Mainframe applications
Qualifications
Professional & Technical Skills:
• Must have skills: Proficiency in mainframe CA Gen, IBM CICS, IBM DB2 for z/OS, IBM Enterprise
• Good to have skills: Experience with other programming languages such as IMS, PL/I COBOL
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software engineering principles.
• Experience with relational databases such as DB2 and SQL
• Knowledge in insurance domain is a plus
Additional Information:
• Minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience in IBM Mainframe technologies
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Excellent Finnish and English communication skills
• The candidate must be resident in Finland
