Ali leads the Advanced Technology Centers at Accenture Federal Services which provide technology and operations services for multiple federal government agencies at scale. In this role he is transforming Accenture’s delivery and workforce model to drive the adoption of a future ready, centralized delivery model that optimizes efficiencies, cost, and impact/value.
He has deep expertise in implementing and managing global services and driving operating model transformation. He has led complex global transitions, acquisition integrations, shared service models, and vendor consolidations. He previously led Accenture’s application outsourcing transition/transformation capability in North America and is an expert at delivery cost optimization and managing global and distributed delivery programs. He architected and led Accenture's transition at a federal government health insurance portal for citizens, which was unprecedented in the IT industry for its combination of pace, scale, complexity and public visibility. His experience prior to Accenture includes executing turnarounds for small and mid-sized companies and leading a start-up.
He has a passion for workforce development and is the champion and sponsor of Accenture's innovative community focused apprenticeship program that was launched in partnership with the City of San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas, and seven non-profit partners in the San Antonio area. The program targets youth and adults from economically disadvantaged backgrounds who otherwise may not have sought a career with Accenture. Now in its fourth year, over 150 apprentices have participated in the apprenticeship program.
Ali has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the College of William and Mary, and a MBA in Finance from Syracuse University. He enjoys playing squash.
