Your Role: Data Consulting Director

Working location is Beijing or Shanghai. Travel is required based on projects.
Director level are expected to contribute to the firm's growth and development of both business and people.
Responsibilities may include:
- Project Delivery: Work with internal project team and/or cross team to deliver projects for the clients. Responsibilities may include:
- MDM/DW Data Platform Consulting
- Corporate data strategy & governance
- Data process design & regulation compliance
- Technology (MDM, BI, Data Lake, Data Warehouse)
- Domain Expert Combination of Data Science and Industry Knowledge
- Data model building, feature selection
- Data model implementation, efficiency and automation
- Data model feedback, performance metric
- Operational Excellence (optional)
- Market entry strategy development
- Digital/customer transformation/eCommerce
- Sales channel optimization & incentive management
- Customer management & sales performance analytics
- Business Development: Collaborate with cross team to identify and win potential opportunities within the practice
- Industry Expertise: Provide industry expertise in Consumer Goods & Retail industry
- Practice Development: Build industrial consulting practice, develop assets and methodologies, develop of points-of-view, research or white papers, support development of marketing collateral, conduct public speaking and publish in industry periodicals.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- University degree with strong grades from reputable university, MBA preferred
- Minimum 8 years working experiences with MNC consumer goods and retail companies or Consulting companies focusing in the commercial and/or operation and/or digital function (e.g. sales and marketing, channel management) and in a management role. Plus 4-5 years consulting experiences (either an internal consultant or an external consultant)
- Experienced with digital and data-driven marketing and digital technology
- Understand the sales & marketing domain.
- Ability to work independently, manage small or parts of large engagements.
- Strong customer relationship building skills.
- Ability to create and deliver high-impact communications to senior audiences (written and oral in both Chinese and English) and facilitate complex discussions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time and multiple commitments/projects simultaneously
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented and distributed delivery environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Fluency in English, Chinese, and additional languages is considered advantageous
