IP Network Engineer

Job Description
- Work with enterprise, fixed, and mobile networks worldwide, providing engineering services to customers.
- Lead and participate in global projects for IP network service integration, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, communication links, and routing protocols.
- Plan, design, integrate, and develop local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), and network security solutions (firewalls, IDS, NAC) in multivendor environments (Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, Fortinet, Palo Alto).
- Perform end-to-end configuration, integration, and validation of transport network services.
- Conduct testing, validation, and acceptance of transport network nodes and services.
- Support operators in transitioning from legacy to modern network architectures, including ORAN readiness.
- Conduct network audits and assessments related to IP networks and connections.
- Optimize and fine-tune network KPIs and QoS across various projects.
- Lead IP network testing procedures and acceptance tasks.
- Collaborate closely with customers in a large, international team to develop end-to-end solutions for next-generation telecommunications networks.
- Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, mentor team members, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.

Qualifications
- Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in IP network engineering, network security, design, operations, and optimization.
- Experience with service provider technologies (MPLS/MPLS-TP) and L2/L3 switching and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MP-BGP).
- Experience with enterprise networks and network security services, including VPNs, IPsec/GRE, NAT/CGNAT, and firewall devices/clusters.
- Familiarity with Network Management Systems (NMS) from multiple vendors.
- Experience working with SD-WAN solutions.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to analyze, assess, and troubleshoot transport network performance issues.
- Strong customer focus and commitment to quality.
- Ability to create detailed technical reports and visually compelling presentations.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally.
- Relevant certifications (Cisco, Juniper, Nokia) are a plus.
- Experience with automation and cloud services is desirable.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
