You Are:
A transformation maven with the skills to help clients meet the challenges of digitization. Your superpower? Using your know-how to solve clients' most complex business problems to help their companies do more. You're as comfortable working in teams and leading projects as you are diving into the details of workstreams and configuring SAP solutions. And you work effectively with distributed onshore and offshore teams across time zones.
The Work:
As a SAP Ariba Lead, you will own the end-to-end design and delivery of Source to Pay on SAP Ariba, spanning Sourcing, Contract Management, Supplier Lifecycle and Performance, Requisitioning, Purchasing, Receiving, Invoicing, Tax determination and S/4HANA integration. You will lead client workshops, translate business requirements into configuration solutions, and run workstream activities with on- and off-shore resources. You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and provide solutions to problems within your immediate team and across multiple teams. Expert proficiency in SAP Ariba is required. Expert proficiency in SAP S/4HANA Materials Management and Cloud Integration Gateway is suggested.
- Use your business smarts to kick-start transformation programs, whether domain- or platform-led.
- Independently deliver client workshops across the full Source to Pay lifecyle.
- Design sourcing and contracting processes: source request creation, sourcing event and template design, contract negotiation and authorization, clause library setup, supplier onboarding, qualification and performance management.
- Design procurement and payables processes: requisitioning, catalog and non-catalog buying, purchase order management, goods receipt, invoicing exception handling and tax determination.
- Configure Ariba sourcing, contract management, buying & invoicing, Catalog Management and Commerce Automation to meet business requirements.
- Define and configure approval workflows and parameter setup across the full process scope, including ICM parameters and Ariba Network rules.
- Drive integration between SAP Ariba, S/4HANA Materials Management and downstream FI and PS modules using Cloud Integration Gateway.
- Own data migration scope: master data, accounting data, cross application data, open contracts, and open purchase orders.
- Lead template design for global deployment and rollouts, and identify process optimization and improvement opportunities.
- Produce Functional Design Documents and Technical Design Documents, and review deliverables produced by the team.
- Support testing across SIT, UAT and cutover, and resolve defects through hypercare.
- Show clients how they can use SAP to solve their business problems.
- Work in a team where you wear lots of hats: interacting with clients, managing workstreams, collaborating with other teams, and where you need to be in charge.
- Interact with all workstreams: technical, reports, conversion, change management, project management, and more.
- Tweak methods, tools, and procedures to create solutions that meet clients' needs.
- Keep a record of requirements, solutions and impacts, alternatives and final decisions.
- This role requires to be onsite 3 days per week. Preferred location: Montreal, Canada.
Here's what you need:
- Minimum of 4years of experience in SAP Ariba, including depth in at least one of the following and working knowledge of the other:
- Ariba Strategic Sourcing Suite: Sourcing, Contract Management, Supplier Lifecycle and Performance
- Ariba Procure to Pay and S/4HANA Materials Management
- Minimum 4 years of SAP transformation, technical advisory or consulting experience, or 8 years of equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience across all project phases: Plan, Analyze, Design, Build, Test, Deploy and Support.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Project, Large Workstream, or Client Lead on a large SAP transformational project with on- and off-shore resources.
