The work:
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Cloud Developer to design, develop, and implementation of scalable and secure cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in both front-end and back-end technologies, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices such as Lean XP, TDD, and BDD. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet business needs, ensuring system reliability, performance, scalability, and adherence to domain-driven design principles.
Work with the Cloud Native Team to deliver client solutions beyond 12 factor applications born for the cloud
Design and deliver complex custom applications designed to enable change for our clients’ businesses
Work on every phase of creating Cloud Native applications across cloud providers like AWS, Azure, GCP, and others
Conduct assessments, build blueprints and roadmaps, build proofs of concept, and write technical points of view.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
6+ years of experience in full-stack development
Understanding of Domain-driven design (DDD) and event-driven architecture.
Expertise in modern frameworks like Angular for front-end, and Spring Boot, Java for back-end development.
Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP, with experience in multi-cloud environment being a plus.
Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and automated testing (TDD, BDD).
Strong experience designing and developing microservices and APIs (REST, GraphQL).
Experience with Lean XP methodologies, and Agile/Scrum practices.
Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
This role will require 3 days per week at the client’s office in downtown Toronto.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Infrastructure-as-a-Service providers (AWS / Cloud Foundry / Azure / Google Cloud)
Prior experience in banking or financial services.
