We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Cloud Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable and secure cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in both front-end and back-end technologies, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices such as Lean XP, TDD, and BDD. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet business needs, ensuring system reliability, performance, scalability, and adherence to domain-driven design principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement cloud-based solutions using microservices and micro frontend architectures, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing.
Lead development across both front-end (React, Angular) and back-end (Spring Boot, Node.js), ensuring high-quality code delivery using TDD and BDD methodologies.
Architect and manage scalable and secure cloud environments on AWS, Azure, or GCP. Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure ARM templates.
Design and develop robust RESTful and GraphQL endpoints. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of SOAP for seamless integration with internal and external systems.
Understand and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate and streamline the build, test, and deployment processes.
Define and implement testing strategies, including unit testing, integration testing, and automated end-to-end testing for ensuring the quality of applications.
Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of solutions. Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
Apply Domain Driven Design principles to architect solutions that align with business domains, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and a clean architecture.
Oversee the build, deployment, and release management processes for full-stack applications across environments.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in full-stack development and cloud architecture.
Understanding of Domain-driven design (DDD) and event-driven architecture.
Expertise in modern frameworks like React, Angular for front-end, and Spring Boot, Node.js for back-end development.
In-depth knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP, with experience in multi-cloud environments being a plus.
Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and automated testing (TDD, BDD).
Expertise in JavaScript, Python, Java, or Node.js.
Strong experience designing and developing microservices and APIs (REST, GraphQL).
Experience with Lean XP methodologies, and Agile/Scrum practices.
Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
This role will require 3 days per week at the local office in Montreal.
English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.
