You are:
An experienced Epic Certified Principal Trainer / Instructional Designer.
The Work:
Depending on the client engagement, the Epic Certified Principal Trainer / Instructional Designer will be responsible for collaborating with Accenture team, software vendor team, and client in the following areas.
Conduct Instructional Design: Lead the end-to-end instructional design process, including needs analysis, content development, implementation, and evaluation of learning solutions for assigned Epic module(s).
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Partner with business leaders, subject matter experts (SMEs), and other key stakeholders to define learning objectives, scope content, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Facilitate Train-the-Trainer for Classroom Educators: Provide training and guidance to a team of classroom facilitators, ensuring their work aligns with project goals, quality standards, and deadlines.
Build and Maintain a Simulated Lower Environment: Lead the setup of a simulated lower Epic training environment following Epic’s standard lower environment build methodology (on-the-job training on how to perform this activity will be provided).
Ensure Instructional Quality and Consistency: Review and approve instructional materials to ensure they meet high-quality standards, are aligned with learning objectives, and adhere to adult learning principles and best practices.
Lead eLearning and Blended Learning Initiatives: Oversee the development of a variety of learning formats, including eLearning, blended learning, virtual instructor-led training (VILT), and other digital learning experiences.
Ensure Accessibility: Ensure all learning materials are accessible, addressing diverse learner needs and complying with accessibility standards.
Measure Learning Effectiveness: Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs, gather feedback, and implement improvements to ensure the training meets learner and organizational objectives.
Other duties as assigned. This work may include implementation, optimization, upgrades, and application support.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Certified in one or more of the designated Epic application(s): Inpatient Orders Principal Trainer, Optime/Anesthesia Principal Trainer, Inpatient ClinDoc Principal Trainer, Dorothy or Long Term CareStork Principal Trainer, Beacon Principal Trainer, Research Principal Trainer, Dialysis Principal Trainer, Ambulatory Principal Trainer.Healthy Planet Principal Trainer
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in training
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications
Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years experience working as an Epic Certified Principal Trainer
Experience in at least 1 full implementation of Epic
Experience in Epic Healthy Planet, Beacon, Dialysis, Inpatient Behavioral Health, Orders, Long Term Care, and/or Stork.
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired in British Columbia as set forth below.
