Accenture Legal Summer Analyst 2025

Internship Description:

The 10-week summer internship program will provide interns with the opportunity to work with lawyers/contracting legal professionals (CLP) who support the broad reach of Accenture’s businesses. CLPs in Accenture’s Corporate Functions organization coordinate and deliver legal, contract and commercial counsel. They identify and help manage and mitigate risk and ensure ethical behavior and compliance with laws and company policies, while providing guidance and negotiating contracts, leveraging commercial and market-relevant positions. 

Features of the program include:

  • participation in Accenture’s summer analyst program with students joining various groups and services across North America

  • participation in training programs presented by Accenture lawyers highlighting different areas of the business and the legal department

  • pairing with a lawyer who will serve as a manager during the program and provide guidance on projects

  • pairing with a mentor who will serve as an additional advisor on skill development, networking, and other individual needs

  • practice presentations and shadow lawyers on various projects and

  • exposure to other areas within Accenture’s broader legal department (i.e., employment, compliance, litigation, etc.).

The work location for this role can include a mix of working remotely and working onsite with our clients and partners or in our offices and delivery centers to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.

Qualifications

  • currently in:

    • first or second year of a 3-year McGill bijuridical law program; or

    • first, second or third year of a 3.5- to 4-year McGill bijuridical law program; or

  • otherwise stated, a law student who reasonably expects to be eligible to commence articling in the 2026-2027, 2027-2028 or 2028-2029 Law Society of Ontario licensing cycle.

  • Must be fluently bilingual (English & French) for the Montreal location

English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with English-speaking stakeholders across Canada. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.
