You Are:
A Strategist with a passion for innovating and delivering effective Commerce solutions. You are at the forefront of industry trends, constantly seeking new ideas to bring to our clients. You consider yourself an expert at establishing and nurturing client relationships and are equally capable of applying those interpersonal skills to develop and maximize the talents of your team members. These skills enable you to advise on a wide range of engagements that help your clients set and achieve their strategic and operational objectives. In addition, you’ve led Commerce transformations and are familiar with the selling processes (e.g., you’ve pitched proposals and solutions to help solve problems).
The Work:
- Develop global digital and multi-channel commerce strategies for Accenture clients, leading the team in rigorous analysis to identify potential value-creating opportunities.
- Lead the development of the business case and requirements necessary to implement the strategy.
- Be a thought-leader in Commerce Industry challenges, trends, solutions, economics and related qualitative & quantitative aspects
- Collaborate with Accenture leadership to cultivate and deliver new business by building trusted relationships with key client stakeholders driving Commerce initiatives, serving as a valued advisor.
- Develop requirements to ensure that the Commerce vision and recommendations translate to (and leverage) Accenture assets, products and services
- Define high level enterprise commercial operating models and applying commerce best practices to support strategy recommendations
- Lead client assessment portion of strategy engagements, develop cohesive conclusions, and present key findings at the executive level
- Use recent approaches such as composable, headless, cloud and real-time technologies
- Define change-management initiatives that drive adoption, ease implementation, and position Commerce solutions for long-term success
- Manage and coach junior team members and continue to grow your own expertise to help Accenture maintain its thought-leadership position
Qualifications
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Commerce space with a preference to catalog, pricing, commerce processes and flows, and fulfilment and customer service
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the consulting industry or equivalent in an internal consulting role
- Experience with one or more solutions such as Salesforce, Adobe, CommerceTools, Shopify and other composable solutions on the market
- Proven track record of driving consulting and strategy sales with Commerce clients
- High-level understanding on how ecosystems fit into the digital world and how digital technology is changing business
- Demonstrated ability to leverage network and experience to originate opportunities, pipeline, and Consulting deals
- Experience running large complex transformative programs
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired in British Columbia as set forth below.
