Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Record to Report (R2R) Specialist to join our CFO Consulting Team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in financial processes, particularly related to accounting closure, transaction matching, reconciliation, and reporting. Functional experience in technologies such as SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, and Blackline are essential for this role. You will be a consultant that provide process optimization, best practices approach, functional expertise timely and accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and supporting financial planning and forecasting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and optimize the end-to-end Record to Report process, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Propose and design account reconciliations process and financial statements reporting to ensure accuracy and adherence to company policies and GAAP/IFRS standards.
- Preferred to have the ability to work with digital implementation in workstreams captured by SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or Blackline for efficient execution of financial reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate with client cross-functional teams to gather necessary data for reporting design in forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Enhance reconciliation and transaction matching processes to ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Assist in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures for R2R processes.
- Participate in system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new accounting software or reporting tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Record to Report or a related finance/accounting role.
- Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or Blackline; strong Excel skills are required.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and metrics.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
- Knowledge of business intelligence tools for reporting and visualization (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Familiarity with IFRS and GAAP compliance and reporting requirements.
