What you’ll do
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the migration of infrastructure provisioning solution from Cloud Formation to Terraform. Provide mentorship, manage task delegation, lead the code review process and promote improvements to enhance team efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Infrastructure Automation: Implement, and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, migration of existing Cloud Formation stacks to Terraform
- Expertise with DevOps Tools (SonarQube, Ansible, jFrog Artifactory, Unit Testing frameworks, Selenium, ServiceNow, JMeter, Karate – or equivalent)
- Monitoring and Logging: Experience in monitoring and logging solutions using tools like Splunk, Cloud Formation and AppDynamics to track system performance, detect anomalies, and troubleshoot issues proactively.
- Cloud Computing: Deploy and manage cloud-based infrastructure and services on platforms such as AWS and Azure, optimizing for performance, cost, and scalability.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure Terraform configurations follow best practices for security, such as restricting access to resources, using IAM roles/policies properly, and setting up logging and monitoring.
- Testing and Validation: Test to validate Terraform code before deployment and once migration is complete, validate the infrastructure’s performance, scalability, and functionality, and address any issues that arise.
- Collaboration with Cross Functional: Regularly communicate with internal teams to understand their requirements and ensure Terraform configurations meet their needs.
Qualifications

- High proficiency in Cloud Formation and Terraform
- Knowledge in AWS Services
- Certified in AWS and Terraform
- Relevant experience in team leading or mentoring junior team members
