Responsibilities:
Administer and support Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of services and applications.
Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud solutions, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
Monitor and optimize Azure resources to maintain cost efficiency.
Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems (e.g., RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS).
Create and manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring appropriate access controls are in place.
Implement security measures to safeguard user data and system integrity.
Optimize system performance by tuning kernel parameters, managing resources, and troubleshooting bottlenecks.
Analyze system logs and monitor applications to identify and resolve issues.
Administer and support VMware Cloud Foundation environments, including deployment and management of virtual machines and storage.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to virtualization and cloud infrastructure.
Respond to and resolve incidents and service requests in a timely manner, escalating to senior resources when necessary.
Document issues and resolutions in the ticketing system to maintain accurate records.
Use monitoring tools to track system performance and health, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
Generate reports on system performance, incidents, and capacity planning.
Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure seamless service delivery and support.
Participate in knowledge sharing and contribute to best practices for service improvement.
Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
Utilize configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet) for system provisioning and management.

Additional Requirements:
Security Clearance Requirement: Given the secure nature of this role, we are seeking candidates who are Australian Citizens with an active security clearance or are eligible for obtaining security clearance.
This requirement ensures that all team members are cleared to handle sensitive information and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of security in our operations.
On-call and Shift Expectations: This position is primarily focused on managed services, meaning you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our clients' IT systems (Applications and Infrastructure). Flexibility and adaptability are key, as you may be required to work in shifts to provide continuous support. Additionally, you may need to be on call to address incidents promptly and perform after-hours deployment activities as needed. Your ability to effectively manage these responsibilities will be crucial to ensuring the seamless operation of our services and client satisfaction.
Must be willing to work from Accenture/client office location 3 days a week (2 days WFH)
