In Industry X we shape the future of making things, and the things we make. Our Industry X Capital Projects team drives innovation by delivering the best-in-class management consultancy based on industrial experience leveraged by the latest technologies. We partner with our clients to disrupt how we plan design and build, breaking down silos and adopting new ways of working that will enable both organizational and process agility and integrating delivery can foster collaboration to jointly manage risk and mutual opportunities across project stakeholders. We help Capital Projects Owners, EPC Contractors from a wide variety of industries improve their portfolios, projects, and capital asset performance by leveraging digital platforms to harness big data for intelligent design, planning and execution, while transforming construction with IoT and automation.

You will be joining our Industry X practice, where we focus on the following key areas:
Digital Engineering
Project Management & Controls
Capital Projects Operating Model and Digital Strategy
In this role, you will:
Manage the delivery of large, mega/complex projects and collaborate with sponsors to manage scope, budget, and risk.
lead client engagements from Concept to Operational phases and employ the best business practices to improve efficiency, reduce operating costs whilst increasing performance, all to tight time scales and within budget.
Interact with C-suite and senior management levels at a client and/or within Accenture, which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters.
Have latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.
Manage large teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.
Bring digital capabilities, industry knowledge, analytics experience, innovation, and cutting-edge technology to our clients in the Capital Projects industry to deliver business value
lead and manage project business from Sales (Offer management, Contract negotiations) to profitable execution encompassing all facets of Project Management lifecycle with Accenture and client teams.
Work with leading clients across industries such as Smart Cities, Public Infrastructure, Utilities, Travel & Entertainment, Real Estate, Oil & Gas, and suppliers to deliver capital projects excellence
Design and implement digital strategy and enablement across enterprise project functions (ex: 3D/4D/5D conceptualization, Automation, IoT) across platforms like Hexagon, Bentley, AutoDesk, AVEVA, etc.
Design future ways of working – operating models, business functions and processes, and technology, whilst working closely with business and technology strategists, process owners and subject matter experts
Shape, sell, and deliver projects that create tangible value – including current state assessments, seeing opportunities to increase efficiency, and developing solutions, business case and roadmaps to achieve the right value led outcomes for the client
Apply deep financial acumen and propose innovative value creation opportunities for sustained growth and profitability with plans that are detailed, actionable and reflect Accenture’s deep industry, IT, and business process acumen
Construct and execute opportunity plan, including win themes, win tactics & action plan, relationship plan, deal shaping and price-to-win
Review solution plans, cost models and written proposals as appropriate to ensure alignment with value propositions and deliverability
Qualifications
Preferred Skills & Experiences
Minimum 15 years of experience as a capability lead, Project Design & Engineering for Smart Cities initiatives with strong understanding of managed services
Experience in delivering large-scale smart cities projects across Industry groups & geographies
Minimum 10 years of experience in direct client facing role in Management Consulting firm having significant exposure on Project Management and Design & Engineering Management
Demonstrate expertise across one or more of following areas
Implement digital tools and digital strategies for the clients
Knowledge of End-to-End Project Execution Business Process & Workflows
Knowledge of Advanced Work Packages, Digital Twin & Thread, Project Lifecycle Management
Knowledge of IoT and related technologies to drive client discussions for digital enablement
Strategic procurement and development of digitally enabled solutions for procurement
Emerging technologies in Digital engineering areas such as Generative redesign, Digital Twin, PLM etc.
Excellent customer facing capabilities, and an established track record for selling delivering consulting engagements with comfortable working at the highest levels of client organizations and interacting closely with the C Suite executives
Functional Processes/Domain experience across the project lifecycle- FEED, Engineering, Planning and Execution, Procurement & Supply Chain, Construction, Commissioning Planning & Execution, Budget and Cost Monitoring, Contract Lifecycle Management etc.
Knowledge on key aspects on Capital projects including Project Controls, Contract Management, Risk Management, Schedule management, cost management and Engineering Services
Ambitious team player with demonstrated leadership potential, who is digitally minded and can successfully combine analytical skills & business acumen
Analyze clients’ strategy, operating vision, business imperatives and capabilities
Has sales support experience with new clients or growing existing clients with experience in business development support, RFP response and consulting services sales
Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or in Design & Engineering Product Function is desirable
Strong, well-structured communication skills, both written and oral skills, English is mandatory, Arabic is a plus

You have an MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree
You have industry or technology certifications.

You are UAE based or willing to transfer to this emerging country
You are an Arabic speaker and have experience in GCC region
You have direct relevant experience in Smart Cities in KSA/GCC, especially mega projects
You have thought leadership in publishing, speaking and conference presence
